When you have no time, or no energy, to cook, this will get the job done. And though it is simple, it will be tastier, and a million times more nutritious, than any fast food meal or S. A. D. (standard American diet) takeout.
- 1 package “steam in the bag” vegetables
- 1/2 can beans
- rice or other vinegar
- spices such as dried herbs, onion powder, black pepper or garlic powder
- Steam vegetables in microwave, put in bowl or to go container.
- Add beans, vinegar and spices, stir.
Here is the finished product:
If you have the time and energy you can add some chopped red onion, or fresh herbs. Then you can call it “deluxe!”
